Harassment contact officer training

This one-day course (half a day if participants have already done Workplace Behaviour) aims to provide knowledge, skills and confidence to Harassment Contact Officers so that they become better equipped to deal with requests for advice.

We start by examining the process by which a complaint is dealt with, thereby educating Contact Officers about what is involved at each of the various steps and putting their role in the context of the whole process.

The role of the Contact Officer is examined so that participants understand the parameters of that role.

The rest of the day is spent developing the Contact Officers’ skills.
